At the recent Annual General Meeting, it was announced that St. Luke’s is beginning the Affirming Process– a time of intentional discernment about becoming an Affirming congregation. An Affirming congregation publicly declares their commitment to inclusion and justice for people of all sexualities and gender identities.
More than just being welcoming, this process will help us educated ourselves and explore what that would mean here at St. Luke’s.
And so we are looking for people who would be interested in being part of the Affirming steering group.
